Start Saving Now for a Pair of Baby Yeezy Boosts, Coming This August

Do you have/know a baby? Do you like spending money? Are you nurturing a budding sneakerhead? If you can check all three boxes, good news: Kim Kardashian confirmed that baby Yeezys are coming in August on last night’s episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” possibly the most interesting thing that’s happened on season 12’s second round.

Kanye West’s insanely popular (and expensive) Yeezy Boosts for Adidas retail in the $200-to-$350 range but generally are found on places such as eBay for closer to four figures—for example, a pair of Yeezy Boost 350s in “pirate black” that were worn “ten times” will set you back $825 on the resale site right now. Who knows how much Yeezy Babys will cost, but let’s just hope that they a) have a ridiculous name, and b) cost as much as the Boosts, because it’s a spectator sport to roll one’s eyes at the Kardashian empire.

One thing’s for sure: The Kardashian-West tots, North and Saint, will certainly be rocking them sneaks often, as bespoke versions have already been spotted on the kids—and they’re already serious fashion plates and tiny mouthpieces of their powerful family’s cultural influence.
