Oscar de La Renta | Fall Winter 2016/2017 Full Fashion Show | Exclusive

Some gorgeous stuff. I have to say I yearn for the days of the supermodel. Half of these girls wouldn't have been booked if Mr. De La Renta was still alive. They were still in puberty. You could tell by the wobbly ankles and deer in headlight stares. To book a show like this should be something that they have earned. End of rant. Back to clothes. There were four pieces that I thought didn't represent the House, aside from that, the new designer hit it out of the park. Congratulations.
is the house of de la Renta still in mourning?…..still sombre.
Haute couture or ready to wear ?
boring, déjà vu
impressive work
Omg!!!! This is so sad, I mean up until he passed away Oscar had so much life and he wasn't afraid of trying new things. And he was always at his atelier fitting and refitting and using the coolest models with cool hair and makeup, he evolved with the times. When I got to do hair for his shows at first I thought Oscar is so old and the clothes are for old ladies but he was so open to try new things and move forward. Who ever did this just set rhat collection back. Are they trying to make people not buy the clothes. WOW!!!!
I dont know what show you guys were watching, but ive worked on Oscar shows when he was alive and they were way more modern and exciting than this crap!!!!
Boring and already done , then I switched to Elie Saab and all was good.
boring
Beautiful!!!
Fashion is so about individual taste. My preference is for great fabrics and designs that are flattering. I don't need to wear clothes that make a protest, look manic, or wrap me in sausage clinging fabrics. Oscar D. is what I like. For those who find these not to their taste, I support your freedom of choice.
Who is the model at 4:00 ?
Beautiful show
The clothes have a great silhouette to the. However, they do not have the Oscar touch of glamour. What happen to the WOW factor!
I used to love his collections when he was designing in Europe. He comes to America, and it is one BORING presentation. Nothing inspiring.
I sort of can't tell that Oscar himself isn't designing these collections!
Perfect.
The clothes are beautiful. Some of the models looked like they liked what they were wearing like the last one. She looked like she arrived.
doesn't get good until 5 min in.
The skirt length that hits right at the knee looks so old-fashioned now, especially with sling-back pumps.
Exquisite clothes for the women who've "arrived". Spectacularly produced; well-crafted frocks, sculptured to enhance a society women's place in her coterie. If Elegance & Sophistication is your key mantra, then you can do no worse than donning as Oscar de la Renta "macaron!" Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
Who are the models 0.53-1.04 and 3.32- 3.39
Thanks :)
Only a few decent pieces but overall, yuck! It looks like something Raf Simons came up with.
Who are the models at minute 1:00 and 1:11??????
.The dresses @ 7:19 and 10:05 are the standout pieces. The overall collection has such odd color choices.
beautiful. very nice
Very disappointed in this collection! A mixture of underwhelming, seen before, fragmented, pieces, and sadly it's not the distinguished Oscar de La Renta! I hope this isn't the beginning of what's to come…….
Anyone who thinks these clothes are nice, needs an eye test.
Discreet, Understated Elegance always wins. Romantic poetry in motion. #RealRomance
This is not the Oscar de la Renta that I know of and I don't like it
Happy to see Vanessa Axenta on the runway again, her closing was so graceful, that's Oscar de la Renta
whats the name of this songs, pleas?
so old and boring, next!
I love how intimate the shows always are. No fancy stage work or props– just a simple runway, direct lighting in a small room, and beautiful clothes.
He still living with us..and within the fabrics
