Fashion trends have typically evolved alongside music styles/trends, so designers follow trends more than they actually set them. Maybe whats offputting is that Hedi is faithful to a music trend that no longer exists. Even now rock music has almost completely dissolved from the radio and tv. But thats also the strength. Music is in a weird lost state right now and so is the fashion as a result. Hedi sticks to rock nostalgia and its a look with a lasting influence. Even non rock hipster garbage music and rap-tronic club music style incorporate rock fashion accents into their style.
